Retaliation Swing, Seattle's newest WSDC Trial Event, is pleased to offer a FREE Beginner Crash Course on the Saturday night of our jam-packed weekend!
Come and learn this amazing dance that you've heard your friends talk about, or maybe seen on TikTok and Insta!
Your instructors will be James and Elizabeth Wyke, two amazing community leaders from Bend, OR, who are joining us on-staff for the weekend!
As a bonus, all attendees of the beginner class get free entry to the main ballroom for our Saturday night program of social dancing, competitions, and what will be an amazing pro show!

- Do I need to bring a partner?
Nope! Come with a partner, come solo, or come with friends for a night out!
- Do I need special footwear?
We recommend wearing shoes that you can move around in easily, and that aren't too sticky. Avoid heels, backless sandals, and cowboy boots.
- Do I need to pre-register?
Nope! Just show up ready to have a great time!
